Utilization of Plants at the Traditional Wedding Ceremony of Sambas Malay Tribe in Merubung Village, Tekarang District, Sambas Regency

Wedding tradition is an important part of the life Sambas Malay ethnic. In implementation community weddings, many people use plants as supplies for wedding stages. This research aims to determine types used by tribe in traditional ceremonies. was going on September December 2020. The method snowball sampling. result shows that obtained 25 species and 19 plant families activities. most widely family Poaceae dan Zingeberaceae. ethnic marriage still preserves traditions their ancestors. Each ceremony has a specific meaning.
